Your First Clinic Visit

Your health history is vital, as it reveals the background about your individual case including surgeries, accidents, medical diagnosis, onset of current symptoms, and other details that brought you to the office.  After reviewing your history and discussing your specific symptoms, a thorough orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic examination is performed.  X-rays will help to uncover structural and functional problems.  Then, once the examination is complete, Dr. Rose will explain the findings and outline a treatment plan.  Progress will then be monitored with periodic examinations and follow up reports.

To prepare for your consultation and first visit, you may choose to complete the New Patient paperwork prior to your clinic visit

She has been in practice since 2000.

Dr. Rose is a graduate of the original and one of the most prestigious chiropractic schools in the country, Palmer College of Chiropractic.  Her education has included the latest in chiropractic research.  She is trained in five different adjusting techniques so that each of her patients can be appropriately treated according to their individual needs; realizing that each patient’s needs are unique.  She continues to educate herself through literature and seminars.  Her philosophy is “learning is a life long process”.

Dr. Rose’s decision to become a doctor of chiropractic came from her own first experiences with at chiropractor at the ages of 15 and 19.  The efficacy of the treatment she received stimulated a curiosity to learn more about the science of chiropractic; to perfect the application of the techniques; and the desire to use that knowledge and those skills to improve the quality of life for patients.  Rose Chiropractic is dedicated to serving families interested in healthcare and prevention.  Dr Rose feels that it is a pleasure and a blessing to offer chiropractic care to the community and to witness the resulting benefits.

Who Needs Chiropractic?
Do you think chiropractic is just for the injured or the elderly?

One of the most traumatic events of a person’s life is their entrance into the world.  Birth places a tremendous amount of pressure and strain on a baby’s fragile spine, especially the delicate neck.  Throughout childhood, you probably have sustained a series of minor injuries and unfortunately some of you may have experiences some major injuries as well.  Think about how you have fallen from a bicycle or a skateboard, or numerous wrestling matches with your siblings.  As you grew up, you encountered playground hazards and gym classes; team sports and the improper use of backpacks.  Perhaps you have slept on a poor mattress or strained your back while carrying a heavy load.

Some of you may have experienced the granddaddy of neck and back trauma – automobile accidents!  Auto accidents commonly cause a significant spinal injury and trauma.  Even so-called minor accidents can inflict tremendous injuries to your spine.  Even if you did not experience any lasting discomfort or pain at the time of these incidents, these spinal injuries accumulate throughout your life and will cause Vertebral Subluxation Complex (VSC).  VSC occurs when one or more of the bones in your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves.  Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones of your spine.  The pressure of irritation on the nerves causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves.  This pressure can result in both peripheral and/or systemic symptoms such as:  peripheral [headaches, neck pain and stiffness, back pain and stiffness, hip pain and stiffness, pain and tingling in the extremities (arms or legs) including sciatica, musculoskeletal pain, Degenerative Disc Disease, bulging or herniated spinal discs, and scoliosis] and systemic [allergies, dizziness, arthritis, asthma and emphysema, hypertension, cold and flu, digestive problems, ear infections, fevers, immune system dysfunction, menstrual dysfunction and PMS related symptoms, fatigue, muscle spasms, sinus problems, stress, and ringing in the ears].

You can develop peripheral or systemic symptoms at any time during your life, not just at the time of a traumatic injury or as you age.

So who needs chiropractic care?... YOU DO!
